Meagan Roellig, Reference Assistant
Hi everyone! My name is Meagan, and I am one of the Youth Services Reference Assistants here at Whitefish Bay. I recently earned my bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Advertising, and Media Studies from UW Milwaukee. I enjoy reading across a wide range of genres, including classics, feminist literature, and nonfiction, and I’m always excited to discover new authors and recommendations. Outside of reading, I have a strong interest in the arts, particularly pottery and fiber arts. I’m thrilled to be part of the Youth Services team here and passionate about supporting young literacy, learning, and creativity within the community. I’m grateful to be here and look forward to working with our young patrons and their families.

Three Women
This author uses narrative journalism to tell a story about the lives of three women who come from very different walks of life. One of my favorite series growing up. It follows a quirky third grader who sometimes gets into trouble due to her impulsive actions. It has themes such as friendship, self-discovery, and family changes.
