October 17 – October 31 is National Friends of the Library Week. We wanted to take this opportunity to give a big thank you to our Friends of the Whitefish Bay Public Library. We are so lucky to have a very active and supportive Friends. Friend volunteers work year round on different projects to help make your library one of the best libraries in the Milwaukee County Federated Library System.
Books and Bagels – September 16th Calling all teens! (Grades 6th-12th) Do you love bagels, books, and chatting with friends? Join us outside at School House Park on Thursday, September 16th at 4PM! Our program “Books and Bagels” is dedicated to teens all over to celebrate the new school year with tasty treats from Bruegger’s and a free book to take home.
Excite your mind, try out a hobby, learn a new skill, or just have fun with our new Take and Tinker collection! This is a collection of tools, games, and more made up of items that you wouldn't expect to find in a library. Take and Tinker is generously funded by Friends of the Whitefish Bay Public Library.

It’s nearly the end of another year and its been an exciting one for the library. We’ve had a ton of events for all ages and most of these events were made possible thanks to Friends of the Whitefish Bay Library, including our monthly speaker series Whitefish Bay TALKS.
