Join us for a poignant and educational Holocaust program featuring Edit Pump and Samantha Abramson.

This program is an opportunity to learn about the Holocaust through historical context and firsthand testimony, ensuring that the lessons of this dark period are never forgotten.

Program Details:

Personal Story by Edith Pump:
Edith Herszenson Pump will share her deeply personal experience as a Holocaust survivor. Born in hiding in Uzbekistan during World War II, Edith is the daughter of Mendel and Ellen (Chia) Herszenson, who fled their homeland of Poland to escape Nazi persecution. Her story is a powerful reminder of resilience and the human spirit's capacity to endure.

Presentation by Samantha Abramson:
"Intro to the Holocaust and Contemporary Applications"
Samantha Abramson is the Executive Director of The Nathan and Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center (HERC). HERC is committed to fostering a life-affirming society rooted in the values of tolerance, diversity, dignity, and respect for all. HERC provides Holocaust education to both students and adults, emphasizing the lessons history has taught us and their relevance in today's world.
