September is Library Card sign up month. Do you have a library card? If not, now is the perfect time to get one. A library card unlocks a plethora of materials and services. Getting a library card is easy! Milwaukee County residents just need a photo ID and documentation with a current address to sign up for a card. You can begin the process online, but you must come in person to complete your form. For patrons under the age of 16, the signature of a parent or legal guardian is required. Once you stop by the library, our friendly staff will have you borrowing materials in no time! Start your signup online- https://classic.countycat.mcfls.org/selfreg
Why get a card? A library card gets you access to all the best books, music CDs, movies, and books on CD. Did you also know that the library has puzzles and board games available for checkout? Browse our list of board games on the library’s website: https://www.wfblibrary.org/books_more/take_and_tinker_collection/board_games.php
Excite your mind, try out a new hobby, learn a new skill, or just have fun with our new Take and Tinker collection-a collection of tools, games, and other items that you wouldn't expect to find in a library! Take and Tinker is generously funded by Friends of the Whitefish Bay Public Library!
Browse the Take and Tinker collection and reserve an item with your library card! Items have a 7-day checkout (with a 3-day grace) and can be renewed up to 2 times if no one is waiting. Late fees are $.50 per day. Items can only be picked up at Whitefish Bay Public Library. Items must be picked up AND returned to the Circulation Desk. Browse the collection here- https://www.wfblibrary.org/books_more/take_and_tinker_collection/
